Great Auk Suite

Located above the winery, in a wing of the former Durrell Academy that once held a Grade 5 classroom and teacher's lounge, is our premier Great Auk Suite. Long gone are the desks and chalkboards; instead you'll discover a modern two-bedroom suite, two en suite bathrooms, a gorgeous outport harbour view from a private balcony, and twelve-foot ceilings splashed with vibrant colours inspired by Newfoundland blueberries and bakeapples. Full kitchen, living room, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

Puffin Room

Sleeps 4 · $179 + tax per night

What once held classrooms filled with students is now the location of our loft-style Puffin Room. Conveniently located above the winery, this modern suite features original hardwood floors, twelve-foot ceilings, and a spiral staircase leading to a cozy loft area. Includes one queen bed, one double bed, kitchenette, sitting area, and private bathroom. Enjoy air conditioning and free Wi-Fi during your stay.

Turre Room

Stay Basics

Rates

Great Auk Suite $219 + tax. Puffin and Turre $179 + tax.

Rates are in Canadian dollars, plus tax. Cleaning fee is included.

Arrival

Check-in from 4:00 PM. Check-out at 11:00 AM.

Please contact the winery before 6:30 PM if you expect to arrive late.

Access

All suites are reached by an outdoor flight of stairs.

Please note that the Puffin Room and Turre Room include loft stairs inside the room.

Booking Terms

Payment

Visa, American Express, or MasterCard is required when booking.

Cancellation

48 hours notice is required for a full refund; otherwise a 25% cancellation fee applies.

The suites are non-smoking. Pets are not permitted in the suites.
