To the extent permitted by law, Great Auk Winery and Auk Island Enterprises Inc. are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses tied to use of the website, and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

Online wine sales from this site continue through Shopify checkout. Product pages, pricing, and availability are shown here, but taxes, shipping charges, and age-verification steps continue in the Shopify checkout flow.

• Wine ships across Canada in full 12-bottle cases.
• Shipping is unavailable in Nunavut at this time.
• Orders are subject to product availability and may be limited, changed, or removed without notice.
• Packaging, labels, and vintages can vary from bottle to bottle and from photo to photo.
• Age checks may be required before an order is completed or released.

Suite inquiries sent through this website are requests, not confirmed reservations. Bookings are confirmed directly with the winery team.

• Rates are in Canadian dollars, plus tax. Cleaning fee is included.
• Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM.
• Please contact the winery before 6:30 PM if you expect to arrive late.
• 48 hours notice is required for a full refund; otherwise a 25% cancellation fee applies.
• Visa, American Express, or MasterCard is required when booking.
• All suites are reached by an outdoor flight of stairs.
• Please note that the Puffin Room and Turre Room include loft stairs inside the room.
• The suites are non-smoking.
• Pets are not permitted in the suites.

Accessibility, availability, and special stay arrangements should always be confirmed with the winery before booking.

When you use the contact form or stay-inquiry form on this website, Great Auk may collect the details you submit so the winery can respond and manage the request.

• Contact inquiries can include your name, email, phone number, topic, and message.
• Stay inquiries can include your name, email, phone number, guest count, requested dates, suite choice, and message.
• Submitted inquiries may be stored in the winery admin system and forwarded by email to the team handling the request.
• This website uses spam checks, origin checks, and rate limiting to reduce abusive or automated submissions.
• Payment card details for wine orders are not stored on this website because checkout continues through Shopify.

If you need help with information you submitted through this site, contact the winery directly and reference the inquiry details you sent.

We keep basic daily page-view totals on the winery's own server to understand which public pages are used. These totals contain only the date, page path, and number of views, without analytics cookies, visitor IDs, IP addresses, or browsing histories. Request information is processed briefly for abuse prevention; ordinary hosting security logs are separate from these totals. You can turn off analytics using Privacy settings in the footer. A previous choice to decline analytics is respected.

Google Analytics loads automatically on public pages unless you choose Basic counts only or Turn off analytics in Privacy settings. It measures public page visits, menu and booking-link clicks, contact-link clicks, and successful inquiry submissions. Inquiry names, contact details, messages, and requested stay dates are not included in these analytics events. Google processes the usage and device information to provide analytics reports for the winery. Analytics cookies are disabled by default for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec until they choose Allow Google Analytics. In those regions, Google may receive limited measurements without analytics cookies. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals are not enabled by this website. You can change your choice using Privacy settings in the footer. Your privacy choice is saved separately in your browser. Google Analytics cookies, when enabled, distinguish browsers and sessions. Essential cart functionality uses separate storage. Shopify checkout has its own privacy and cookie controls.
